Questions

Why not just use Virk and the CVR register for free?
For single lookups, Virk is the best place to start: it is the source of all CVR data. For many companies at once you need technical access and your own integration, and the figures have to be pulled out of each annual report. We do that work and deliver the data straight to your AI assistant, API or CLI.
Are the prices directly comparable?
Only partly. A 'lookup', 'call' or 'credit' is not the same unit everywhere: some providers count a batch of many CVR numbers as one call, and one search with us returns up to 50 companies for 1 credit. Several providers also include more data than we do, such as owners and boards. The details and all sources are under 'See sources and details'.
Do I need a subscription?
No. You can buy prepaid credit packs without a subscription, or choose a monthly plan from 39 kr excl. VAT with no lock-in. New accounts get a trial: 2,000 free credits for 14 days, no card needed.

The table at the top shows API providers that, like us, offer a REST API and an MCP server with public prices. Below are all providers we checked. There are more providers than these; we only include those whose price and product pages we could read on the check date.

When another provider is a better fit

  • You need owners, boards or other data about people.
  • You need credit ratings, RKI or AML/KYC checks.
  • You need CVR changes within minutes. Our master data is synced once a day, early in the morning.
  • You only need a few hundred lookups a month. Several API providers include a monthly allowance at no cost; we only offer a trial.
  • You need to enrich long lists of CVR numbers you already have. Some providers count a batch of up to 500 CVR numbers as one call.
